Kids: Really?
Me: Well yes. Dogs say woof woof and ducks say quack quack.

For some reason - probably due to the distinct lack of vowel sounds in the Spanish language in comparison to English - the Spanish have serious problems distinguishing between dog and duck !

Por algún razón - probablamente porque en español hay menos vocales que en inglés - los españoles tienen un problema grave en el momento de distinguir entre pato y perro.
